Widefield Retinal Imaging
Widefield Retinal Imaging
Widefield imaging photographs a much larger portion of the retina in one capture, including the periphery where tears and early disease often begin.
What it adds
- Peripheral findings — retinal tears, holes, and thinning outside the standard view.
- Diabetic screening — a documented image of the retina at each annual exam.
- Year-over-year comparison — photographs, not recollection, showing what has changed.
The image is taken in seconds and reviewed with you on screen during the visit.
