Therapeutic modalities are the supporting cast in rehabilitation. Used well, they reduce pain and swelling enough for the active work that actually restores function.

What we use

• Therapeutic ultrasound — deep heating for tight, painful soft tissue.
• Electrical stimulation — pain control and re-education of muscles that have shut down.
• Heat, cold, and traction — applied as part of a defined program.

These are always paired with exercise rather than offered on their own, because passive treatment alone rarely holds.
