Holter & Event Monitoring

An EKG records about ten seconds of heart rhythm. When symptoms come and go, that is rarely enough. A wearable monitor records continuously while you go about a normal day.

When we use it

  • Palpitations — skipped beats or racing that has not been captured in the office.
  • Unexplained dizziness or fainting — looking for pauses or fast rhythms.
  • Atrial fibrillation — confirming a diagnosis and checking whether treatment is holding.

You are fitted with the monitor here, wear it for the prescribed period, and return it to us. The recording is analyzed and reviewed with your cardiologist.
