Abdominal & Pelvic Ultrasound
Abdominal & Pelvic Ultrasound
Ultrasound is often the first study ordered for abdominal or pelvic symptoms because it is fast, radiation-free, and detailed enough to answer most questions.
What we examine
- Gallbladder and liver — stones, inflammation, and the cause of abnormal liver enzymes.
- Kidneys and bladder — stones, obstruction, and structural changes.
- Uterus and ovaries — fibroids, cysts, and the cause of pelvic pain or abnormal bleeding.
Studies are performed in the building and reviewed by the physician who ordered them, which usually removes a week of waiting from the process.
