Vascular Surgery

Our vascular surgeons treat the arteries and veins outside the heart — circulation problems that cause pain when walking, non-healing wounds, and the leg veins that ache by the end of the day.

What we treat

  • Varicose and spider veins — evaluation and minimally invasive vein treatment.
  • Peripheral arterial disease — leg pain with walking, coldness, or numbness caused by narrowed arteries.
  • Chronic venous insufficiency — leg swelling, heaviness, and skin changes.
  • Non-healing wounds and leg ulcers — where circulation is the underlying problem.
  • Blood clots and deep vein thrombosis — evaluation and management.
  • Aneurysm screening — ultrasound assessment for patients at risk.

Vein treatment patients tolerate

Vein procedures are performed in the office or our ambulatory surgery center, and most patients walk out and return to normal activity quickly. Our providers explain what each treatment involves before, during, and after — something patients tell us made the difference.

Vascular ultrasound is performed on site, and care is coordinated with cardiology, podiatry, and endocrinology.

Vascular care is led by our cardiologist, Dr. Vladimir Fridman, who uses current imaging and technique to keep treatment as low-impact as the problem allows.
