Ophthalmology

Our ophthalmologists are medical eye doctors. They diagnose and treat the conditions that threaten sight — glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disease, infections and injuries — and handle the surgical planning that goes with them.

What we treat

  • Glaucoma — screening, eye pressure monitoring, medication management, and laser treatment.
  • Cataracts — evaluation, pre-operative measurements, and surgical planning.
  • Diabetic retinopathy — dilated retinal exams and imaging, with results sent straight to the provider managing your diabetes.
  • Macular degeneration — monitoring and treatment.
  • Eye infections, injuries, and inflammation — evaluated promptly rather than sent to an emergency room.
  • Eyelid and ocular surface conditions — styes, chalazia, pterygium, and dry eye that has not responded to drops.

Imaging in the same visit

OCT retinal imaging, widefield retinal photography, visual field testing, corneal topography and digital tonometry are all in the building, so a suspicious finding can be imaged and reviewed before you leave.

Connected to the rest of your care

Diabetes, high blood pressure and thyroid disease often show up in the eye first. Because our eye providers share a record with the medical team, anything found here reaches the physician managing that condition.

Looking for a routine exam, glasses, or contacts? Our optometry team handles that side of eye care.
